** To apply for this level of certification, candidates must have:
- The ISTQB® CT Foundation Level certificate;
- An ISTQB® CT Advanced Level certificate, depending on the Expert module desired;
- Passed the Expert Level Exam;
- At least 5 years of proven practical experience in software testing;
- At least 2 years of industry experience in the specific Expert Level topic.
*NOTE:
CT Advanced Level - Test Automation Engineer
Version 1.0 of the CTAL-TAE Certificate will be discontinued, giving way to the new version 2.0.
For this reason, these Exams will be available until:
- June 12, 2025 (in English);
- December 12, 2025 (in the remaining languages).
CT Advanced Level - Test Manager
Version 2.0 of the CTAL-TM Certificate will be discontinued, giving way to the new version 3.0.
For this reason, these Exams will be available until:
- May 30, 2025 (in English);
- November 30, 2025 (in the remaining languages).
