The first national meeting of the testing community was held on November 9, 2010, in partnership with IDC. 167 people attended out of a total of 211 registered. With the sponsorship of 7 companies, in addition to IDC itself, and with the support of Semana Informática, this event was considered to be the first of its kind. first Testing Portugal Conference.
On October 15, 2010, COMTEST.PT was recognized by the International Software Testing Qualifications Board®.
On February 28, 2011, the Association's name was changed from COMTEST.PT to PSTQB - Portuguese Software Testing Qualifications Board (Portuguese Software Testing Qualifications Board)
On March 11, 2011 PSTQB is represented for the first time at a General Assembly of the ISTQB®. The meeting took place in Prague, Czech Republic.
On March 29th, 2011, the first Test Our Coffee. The theme was "Test Automation" and the speaker was Fernando Esteves Costa, a CGD employee and one of the founding members of the PSTQB.
In the first quarter of 2011, the first exams were held under the auspices of the PSTQBin partnership with iSQI. There were 6 exams: 2 Foundation exams and 4 Advanced Level exams.
On March 7, 2013, the PSTQB held its first ISTQB® CT Foundation Level, in Portuguese.
In March 2014, Patricia Alves was appointed Vice-Chair of the Examination Working Group of the ISTQB®.
In May 2014, Filipe Carlos was appointed Vice-Chair of the Audit Working Group of the European Commission. ISTQB®.
Held on November 19, 2019, the 10th edition of the largest Software Testing conference in Portugal took place in Lisbon, at the Altis Grand Hotel.
Patricia Alves was appointed ISTQB® Governance Officer in August 2019.
Filipe Carlos co-authored the first White Paper of the ISTQB®launched in March 2019, under the theme "The Vision on the Future of Software Testing".
In May 2022, Filipe Carlos was appointed Chair of the Process Management & Compliance Working Group of the ISTQB®.
