\n \n \n I. Registration, Scheduling and Payment for the Certification Exam<\/span>\n\n \n

Article 1<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Registration<\/strong><\/h6>


1.\u00a0<\/strong>In order to book the Exam, the Candidate or the Requesting Entity must complete and send in the relevant registration form:
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 a.<\/strong> Online, via the official PSTQB<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/a> website or
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 b.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>By filling in, signing and sending the form in .pdf format, which is also available to download from the official website of the\u00a0PSTQB<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/h6>
Article 2<\/strong>\u00a0| Scheduling and Confirmation<\/strong><\/h6>

1.\u00a0<\/strong>Applications must be submitted at least 5 (five) working days before the date of the Certification Examination. Applications sent after this period will be rejected;
2. <\/strong>Once the application has been received, the\u00a0PSTQB<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>will validate the feasibility of the event and, within a maximum of 24 working hours, issue a notice of acceptance or a proposal for new dates and times;
3.<\/strong>\u00a0The\u00a0PSTQB<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Certification Exams can be taken on Mondays and Fridays (except on holidays), from 9am to 4pm.<\/p>


Article 3<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Payment<\/strong><\/h6>


1.\u00a0<\/strong>Payment for the exams must be made when the registration form is sent;
2. <\/strong>Applications for certification exams that are not accompanied by proof of payment will not be considered;
3. <\/strong>The\u00a0PSTQB<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0accepts payments by bank transfer, ATM reference and credit card;
4.<\/strong>\u00a0The\u00a0PSTQB<\/strong><\/span>will only publish the results of the Exam and send the Certificate (if applicable) once all payments totaling the value of the Exam have been confirmed.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n

\n \n \n II. Information and Procedures for Taking the Exam via the Online Platform<\/span>\n\n \n

\n \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n \n <\/a>\n <\/div>\n\n

Article 1<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Information Prior to the Exam<\/strong><\/h6>


1.<\/strong> The PSTQB<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, when sending the confirmation of the exam schedule, also sends the Support Guide for Remote Exams, which should be given the utmost attention by Candidates;
\n2.<\/strong> The PSTQB<\/span><\/span><\/strong> provides close and personalized support (before, during and after);
\n3.<\/strong> Candidates who, on the date of the exam, have any doubts about the functioning of the platform supporting the exam should contact the PSTQB<\/span><\/span><\/strong> as soon as possible for clarification;
\n4.<\/strong> Candidates whose nationality is different from the language they have chosen to take the Certification Examination must ensure that they have provided the necessary information to the PSTQB<\/span><\/span><\/strong> so that you have access to the extra 25% time.
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Example: If the exam has a total duration of 60 minutes, the candidate will have 75 minutes to complete the exam<\/i>.<\/p>


Article 2<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Taking the Exam via the Platform\u00a0Online<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>


1.\u00a0<\/strong>The procedures for taking the Exam via the online platform are duly detailed in the\u00a0Support Guide for Remote Examinations<\/strong><\/a>, available for\u00a0download<\/em> on the official PSTQB<\/span><\/span><\/strong>;
2.<\/strong> The PSTQB<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is not, and can never be held responsible for the fact that the Candidate is unaware of the functioning of the platform supporting the online exams;
3.<\/strong>\u00a0If the Candidate does not take the scheduled Exam due to lack of knowledge of how the online platform works, he\/she will have to make a new appointment and, consequently, a new payment.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n

\n \n \n III. Rules to Comply With During the Exam and Penalties in the Event of Non-Compliance<\/span>\n\n \n

Article 1<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Rules to Follow During the Examination<\/strong><\/h6>


1.\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>Before starting the Certification Examination, the Candidate has access to the Examination rules, which he\/she must read carefully;<\/b>
2.\u00a0<\/strong>During the Examination, the Candidate\u00a0can\/must<\/strong>:
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 a.\u00a0<\/strong>Use all the features of the platform;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 b.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Ask for help or clarify any doubts about the operation of the platform with the Invigilator via the chat window;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 c<\/span>.\u00a0<\/strong>Be prepared with water (or any other drink you like) and light food (merely suggestive);
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 d.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Keep to yourself, with as little noise as possible, and well-lit;
3.\u00a0<\/strong>During the Examination, the Candidate\u00a0can't<\/strong>:
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 a.\u00a0<\/strong>Leaving the computer\/camera or adopting a position that does not allow proper surveillance and analysis of their movements. If, for reasons of force majeure, the Candidate has to leave the screen, they must ask the invigilator for permission (in writing, in the chat window) and wait for it to be accepted;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 b.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Use extra equipment for the Exam, particularly, but not exclusively, those that allow contact with the outside world;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 c<\/span>.\u00a0<\/strong>Use your cell phone or tablet. These devices must be put into flight mode before the start of the Exam and until it is over. If, for reasons of force majeure, the Candidate has to keep their cell phone contactable, they must inform the invigilator (in writing, via the chat window) before starting the Exam;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0d.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Consult books, manuals to support self-study and\/or notes (either in physical or digital format);
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 e<\/span>.\u00a0<\/strong>Wearing or handling headphones,\u00a0headphones<\/em>\u00a0or any other similar equipment;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 f.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Read the exam questions and answers, speak or sing;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 g<\/span>.\u00a0<\/strong>Taking screenshots\u00a0(printscreen<\/em>) or photograph it;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 h.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Use pencil, pen and scratch paper;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 i<\/span>.\u00a0<\/strong>Use a dictionary;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 j.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Use a calculator other than the one provided by the platform;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 k.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Opening and consulting web pages, regardless of their content and purpose.<\/p>


Article 2<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Penalties in the event of non-compliance<\/strong><\/h6>

1.\u00a0<\/strong>In the event of non-compliance with one or more of the points mentioned above (Chapter 3, Article 1, paragraph 3), the Candidate will be informed by the Invigilator via the Chat window that the Exam will be immediately canceled and terminated;
2.<\/strong>\u00a0If the exam is canceled due to non-compliance with the rules, a new appointment will cost the same as a new exam.<\/p>


Article 3<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Access to Results<\/strong><\/h6>


1.\u00a0<\/strong>After completing the Certification Exam, the Candidate can check whether he\/she has obtained a positive or negative result;
2.<\/strong>\u00a0Candidates who achieve at least 65% of the points have a positive result.
\u00a0 \u00a0 Example: In an exam that has a maximum of 40 points, 65% is equal to 26 points, which means that the candidate needs to achieve 26 points (minimum) to pass.<\/em><\/p>


Article 4<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Issuing and Sending Certificates<\/strong><\/h6>

1.\u00a0<\/strong>After passing the Certification Exam, the PSTQB<\/span><\/span><\/strong> issue and send the Certificate within 48 working hours (forty-eight);
\n2.<\/strong>\u00a0Certificates are, as a rule, sent by e-mail, to the e-mail address that the Candidate indicated when filling in the registration form;
\n3.<\/strong>\u00a0Candidates wishing to receive a paper certificate will have to pay \u20ac10, plus VAT at the standard rate in force;
\n4.<\/strong>\u00a0Certificates issued can be consulted on the ISTQB\u00ae Successful Candidate Register (S.C.R.) platform, if you have authorized the communication of your data (full name, certification level, date of the exam and certificate number);
\n5.<\/strong>\u00a0The Certificate has the same validity if the Candidate chooses not to allow their data to be communicated to the S.C.R. platform.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n

\n \n \n IV. Absences, Justifications, Postponements and Reschedules<\/span>\n\n \n

Article 1<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0No Show
<\/strong><\/h6>
\u00a0<\/h6>

1.\u00a0<\/strong>If you are absent without prior notice, you can justify your absence up to 5 (five) working days after the day on which your Exam was scheduled by sending an e-mail (with the appropriate justification) to the following address\u00a0exames@pstqb.pt<\/a>;<\/p>


Article 2<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Valid Justifications for Free Rebookings<\/strong><\/h6>
\u00a0<\/h6>

1.\u00a0<\/strong>The following are grounds for revealing absences, provided they are duly certified (where applicable):
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 a.\u00a0<\/strong>Duly proven infectious disease;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 b.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Period of childbirth, as well as antenatal appointments and breastfeeding;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 c<\/span>.\u00a0<\/strong>Maternity or paternity leave;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0d. <\/strong>Sickness assistance for descendants and first-degree ascendants, as well as spouses or unmarried partners<\/span>;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 e<\/span>.\u00a0<\/strong>Attendance in court or any other similar instance;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 f. <\/strong>Attendance at National Defense Day<\/span>;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 g<\/span>.\u00a0<\/strong>Death of a 1st or 2nd degree relative;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 h. <\/strong>Illness<\/span>;
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 i. <\/strong><\/span>Hospitalization or surgery, and subsequent convalescence period.<\/p>

2. <\/strong> Any other justification \u2013 beyond those listed in the previous point (1.) \u2013 will be subject to case-by-case analysis by the PSTQB<\/span><\/span><\/strong> Examination Board.<\/p>


Article 3<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Postponement\/Rescheduling Requests<\/strong><\/h6>
\u00a0<\/h6>

1.<\/strong> Candidates may request the postponement of the Exam from the PSTQB<\/span><\/span><\/strong> - without any justification or with a justification that does not fall within the scope of the last article (Chapter IV, Article 2, number 2) - after confirmation of its scheduling and upon prior payment of \u20ac 35, plus VAT at the standard legal rate in force;<\/p>


Article 4<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Cancellations<\/strong><\/h6>
\u00a0<\/h6>

<\/b>\n1. <\/strong>Cancellation, free of charge, is subject to the presentation of the respective justification and subsequent analysis on a case-by-case basis by the PSTQB<\/strong><\/span> Examinations Board; .\n
2. <\/strong>If the cancellation request is accepted, in order to receive a refund, the Applicant must send proof of NIB\/IBAN, with his\/her name, and valid for less than 1 (one) month;\n
3. <\/strong>If the refund request is not accepted, there will be no refund, and the PSTQB<\/strong><\/span> will issue the corresponding communication and inform the Candidate of the deadline for making a new appointment;\n
4. <\/strong>Candidates who request the cancellation of the Exam with the intention of rescheduling it must wait 3 (three) months after the date on which they made the cancellation request. Otherwise, it will be considered a rescheduling and not a cancellation.\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Example: The Candidate has an exam scheduled for September 5th and requests its cancellation on August 15th. They will then be informed that they will only be able to schedule a new exam after October 15th.<\/i><\/br><\/p> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n

2.<\/strong>\u00a0The prices of the exams, as well as the available levels, can be found on the official PSTQB<\/strong><\/a><\/span> website;\n
3.<\/strong>\u00a0The prices shown on the page mentioned in the previous paragraph (2.) include VAT at the normal legal rate in force;
4. <\/strong>The\u00a0PSTQB<\/strong><\/span>, by prior agreement with its partner GASQ, may change one or more values without prior notice.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n

1.\u00a0<\/strong>GASQ is fully responsible for maintaining and ensuring the proper functioning of the platform that supports the administration of the Certification Exams;
2.<\/strong>\u00a0The responsibility for evaluating and certifying candidates lies solely with\u00a0the PSTQB<\/strong><\/span>.

<\/p>

Article 2<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0Applicability<\/strong><\/h6>

GENERAL REGULATION GENERAL REGULATION Online Exams Online Exams Online Exams I. Registration, Scheduling and Payment of the Certification Exam Article 1 | Registration 1. In order to book the Exam, the Candidate or the Requesting Entity must fill in and send in the relevant registration form: a. Online, via the official PSTQB website or b. Online, via the official PSTQB website. Online, via the official PSTQB website or b. By completing, signing and sending the form in .pdf format, which is also available to download from the PSTQB's official website. Article 2 | Scheduling and Confirmation 1. Registrations must be made at least 5 (five) working days before the intended date of the Certification Exam. Applications sent after this period will be rejected;2. Upon receipt of the registration request, the PSTQB will validate its feasibility and, within a maximum of 24 working hours, will issue a notice of acceptance or a proposal for new dates and times;3. The PSTQB makes it possible to take the Certification Exams on the following days: Monday and Friday (except on public holidays), from 9am to 4pm. Article 3 | Payment 1. Payment for exams must be made when the registration form is sent. 2. Applications for certification exams that are not accompanied by proof of payment will be completely disregarded;3. PSTQB accepts payments by bank transfer, ATM reference and credit card;4. PSTQB will only publish the results of the Exam and send the Certificate (if applicable) once all payments totaling the value of the Exam have been confirmed. II. Information and Procedures for Taking the Exam via the Online Platform Article 1 | Information Prior to Taking the Exam 1. PSTQB, when sending confirmation of the exam schedule, will also send the Support Guide for Taking Remote Exams, which should be given the utmost attention by Candidates;2. PSTQB provides close and personalized support (before, during and after);3. Candidates who, on the date of the exam, have any doubts about the operation of the exam support platform should contact PSTQB as soon as possible for clarification;4. Candidates whose nationality is different from the language they have chosen to take the Certification Exam must ensure that they have provided the necessary information to PSTQB in order to have access to the extra 25% time. Example: If the Exam has a total duration of 60 minutes, the Candidate will have 75 minutes to complete their Exam. Article 2 | Taking the Exam via the Online Platform 1. The procedures for taking the Exam via the online platform are duly detailed in the Support Guide for Taking Remote Exams, available for download on the official PSTQB website;2. The PSTQB is not, nor can it ever be held responsible for the fact that the Candidate is unaware of the functioning of the online Examination support platform;3. If the Candidate does not take the scheduled Exam due to a lack of knowledge of how the online platform works, they will have to reschedule and, consequently, pay again. III. Rules to Comply With During the Examination and Penalties in the Event of Non-Compliance Article 1 | Rules to Comply With During the Examination 1. Before starting the Certification Exam, the Candidate has access to the Exam rules, which he\/she must read carefully;2. While taking the Exam, the Candidate may\/must: a. Use all the features of the platform; b. Ask the invigilator for help or to clarify any doubts about the functioning of the platform via the chat window; c. Be provided with water (or any other drink they like) and light food (merely suggestive); d. Keep to themselves, with as little noise as possible and well lit;3. During the Exam, the Candidate may not: a. Leave the computer\/camera or adopt a position that does not allow the correct monitoring and analysis of their movements. If, for reasons of force majeure, the Candidate has to leave the screen, he\/she must ask the invigilator for permission (in writing, in the chat window) and wait for it to be accepted; b. Using equipment other than that used for the Exam, in particular, but not exclusively, equipment that allows contact with the outside world; c. Using a cell phone or tablet. This equipment must be put into flight mode before the start of the Exam and until it has finished. If, for reasons of force majeure, the Candidate has to keep the cell phone contactable, he\/she must inform the invigilator (in writing, via the chat window) before starting the Exam; d. Consult books, self-study support manuals and\/or notes (either in physical or digital format); e. Use or handle headphones. Using or handling headphones, earphones or any other similar equipment; f. Reading the Exam questions and answers, speaking or singing; g. Taking screenshots or photographs; h. Using a pencil, pen and paper scratch paper; i. Using a dictionary; j. Using a calculator other than the one provided by the platform; k. Opening and consulting web pages, regardless of their content or reason. Article 2 | Penalties in the event of non-compliance 1. In the event of non-compliance with one or more of the points mentioned above (Chapter 3, Article 1, paragraph 3.), the Candidate will be informed by the invigilator via the Chat window that the Exam will be immediately canceled and terminated; 2. If the Exam is canceled due to non-compliance with the rules, a new appointment will cost a new Exam. Article 3 | Access to Results 1. After completing the Certification Exam, the Candidate can check whether he\/she has obtained a positive or negative result. 2. A Candidate who achieves at least 65% of the points has a positive result. Example: In an exam with a maximum of 40 points, 65% is equal to 26 points, which means that the candidate needs to achieve 26 points (minimum) to pass.
